| Nicolas Pepe joins Nice on loan |
For the 2022–2023 season, Nicolas Pepe has signed a loan deal with OCG Nice of Ligue 1.
At the beginning of the 2019–20 season, the 27-year-old transferred to us from the French team Lille. Since then, he has made 111 appearances across all competitions for us, scoring 27 goals.
The winger made headlines by finishing his rookie campaign by being named to the starting lineup for the 2020 FA Cup Final and assisting in our 2-1 triumph over Chelsea.
Since his debut in 2016, Nico has been a consistent member of the Ivory Coast national team, representing his nation at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017, 2019, and 2021. For Ivory Coast, he has made 34 appearances and nine goals.
Nico's future in France with Nice is wished well by everyone at Arsenal.
The agreement is contingent upon closing.
